Introduction
Colin’s Performing Arts Agency is now recognised as one of the leading agencies within the industry representing children and young performers in all aspects of the performing arts including television, theatre, film and radio. David Bishop runs the agency along with his associate, Lindsay Jones. The agency was established over fourteen years ago and has grown from thirty to over three hundred clients.
The agency represent children and young performers who not only who train at CPA School but those from various other schools and colleges in Great Britain. They will only look to represent children whom they feel can be successful within the industry whether it be in one or all of the many aspects of the performing arts.
The agency represents performers from birth in all areas of the performing arts industry including theatre, television, film, commercials, idents and radio. Alongside the agency is CPA management that represents young performers and adults over 16 years.
Spotlight
Every client is registered with ‘Spotlight’. Spotlight is a requirement of all clients represented by CPA Agency. It is the link between the agency and casting directors and provides an instant way of suggesting clients for work. Spotlight also produce a directory of every child / young performer registered with them. This directory is NOT for general release and ONLY distributed to casting directors and industry professionals. Clients are also placed onto a secure website that again can only be accessed by CPA Agency, casting directors and industry professionals whom have been scrutinised for their authenticity prior to gaining access.
Photographs
Every client must have headshots taken by a professional photographer. The agency will organise a photograph session prior to commencement of representation. CPA Agency currently work is association with M.A.D. Photography. The photographer will take a selection of digital photographs that will made available in colour and black and white.
Representation
