The course is a ‘Musical Theatre Diploma Course’.

It is for three years and has three terms per year (each including a half-term in which a special project or assessments take place).  The curriculum allows for growth and change to meet current needs and future trends of the entertainment industry and students work daily from Monday to Friday with specialist workshops and rehearsals on some evenings and weekends.  Male students have separate ballet, jazz and singing classes and all students have a personal fitness and nutrition adviser.

Our staff are of the highest calibre and are recruited from the widest spectrum of the profession.  All have in-depth experience as teachers, performers, choreographers, directors etc.  There is an infrastructure of teachers who are committed to the College and provide consistency and a sense of an ongoing process.  This is complimented and enhanced by visiting tutors who run master classes on specific current West End performance projects, such as We Will Rock You, Mamma Mia and Chicago.

* In addition to these subjects, it is also possible to follow and take examinations and associates in LAMDA, ISTD and BATD. These subjects are not an active part of the working college timetable and a student wishing to follow these subjects would have to do this in his / her own time on an extended timetable after the normal college working day had finished. CPA will endeavour to meet all student requirements with regard to these subjects.
