2nd Year Course Outline

Colin’s Performing Arts Limited

“Today’s training for the professionals of tomorrow…”

All subjects are studied at a more intense level with associated general training still being applied on the curriculum. Students are also given the opportunity to audition for short professional engagements as part of the course curriculum. Assessments will again take place throughout the year and feedback given on a constructive one-one basis with individual subject tutors.

Early in the second term 2nd year students will rehearse and perform a play to a public audience in the colleges’ studio theatre.  In the second part of the term 2nd and 3rd year students will audition for the college musical. A professional production team is employed for the show and many industry professionals come and support. This experience gives the students the opportunity to work to the time frames of a professional production and also to begin show casing their talents.

In the third term the students will again have the opportunity to perform in CPA Colleges ‘End of Year Show’ by auditioning for an invited list of directors/choreographers and musical directors.
